The berninger blog had been originally focused on the subject of defensive strategies during the financial crisis. The objective was to grow a community around this subject.

The blog also utilized new, proprietary concenpts on measuring and comparing GDP, Deflation and Inflation allowing to foresee eventual economic trends.

The main author on Berninger.de is Dr. Berninger who holds a Ph.D in Chemistry and an MBA from IESE Business School. He has a strong background in business strategy, operations, innovation and IT.

About your web site: Let me start to congratulate you about your web site and your pessimism, it has been spot-on with the actual economic outlook, congratulations! I have to admit that personally I did not give too much credit to your forecast, and if I did I would have been several thousands euros better-off... but that's life...
